Hi,
My name is Gareth Wilson. I am a France-based English translator with over 25 years’ experience in the translation industry (see my LinkedIn profile here).
I first started developing Coyote for Translators 6 months ago, as a project to familiarise myself with a low-code development platform (LCDP) called Seatable Cloud.
In truth, though, Coyote for Translators is the latest incarnation of a desktop, database application I developed more than 15 years ago – an application called GesCom.
I had always toyed with the idea of developing an online version of GesCom, but before the emergence of low-code platforms, doing so would have entailed quite a bit of coding and would have been no small feat for me.
Without a low-code platform like Seatable Cloud, Coyote for Translators – which I like to think of as the online version of my good, old GesCom – would probably have never seen the light of day.
I now use Coyote for Translators every single day to manage my own translation work and workflows. But I still check out GesCom every now and then, for old times’ sake.
If you have any questions about Coyote for Translators – or Seatable Cloud, for that matter – feel free to contact me at any time at **[email protected].**
All the best,
Gareth
